Time-suck

I've pretty much decided to stop using tumblr and twitter, because they're kind of a time-suck that I don't need right now.  I don't know if I will decide sometime in the future that I want to start using them again, but right now I'm done with them indefinitely.  I only have so much time, and I might as well us it in a careful, thoughtful way, deliberately and productively.

    Agree. I'm fasting TV and movies right now, but even working around that I managed to spend almost seven straight hours on YouTube yesterday. So I'm incorporating YouTube and tumblr into my 40-day fast. And I plan to be way more strict and time conscious about using all of these in future.

    I'm doing a different fast each week, and starting today I'm fasting YouTube and tumblr. I, too, spend far far FAR TOO MUCH time on the two of them, and I'm hopeful to feel better about myself and my priorities by the time this week is through.
